Hot Chicken Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 cups cut up cold (cooked) chicken chunks
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 2/3 cup finely chopped almonds
  • 3/4 cups mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp Monosodium glutamate (MSG) (optional)
  • 2 cups chopped celery
  • 4 hand cooked eggs (sliced)
  • 1 cup cheese grated
  • 3/4 cup cream of chicken soup (I used ____ ____)
  • 1 tsp. grated onion
  • 2 pimentos cut fine
  • 1 1/2 - 2 cups crushed potato ships

Preparation

Combine all ingredients except cheese, potato ships and almonds. Please in a large rectangular dish. Top with cheese, potato chips and almonds. Let it stand in the refrigerator overnight.

Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
