Shrimp Salad


  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked pasta (used rings) - I think 1 box of rings = 1 1/2 cups
  • 3 hard boiled eggs-diced
  • 1 cup mayo or miracle whip
  • Dash of sugar 1/2 teaspoon or less
  • 3/4 Tablespoon grated onion
  • 2 Tablespoon grated onion
  • 2 Tablespoon sweet pickle juice
  • 2 Tablespoons sweet pickles cut up into tiny pieces through or food processor
  • 1 Tablespoon mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon catsup
  • 1/2 - 1 Tablespoon chili sauce
  • Paprika
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoon of diced celery
  • 1 small can shrimp - add last

A note from Kortney

When I've made this, I've cooked the pasta al dente. Adam and Eric said it tasted like your Grandma's with it being cooked. I made it with uncooked pasta too and it wasn't right. The rings are hard to find in CA. Twila brought me out some at Sara's wedding. If anyone needs a box, please let me know. And a whole box is too much pasta. But please feel free to try both ways. I never ate it because I don't eat shrimp so I can only go off my memory of watching your Grandma cook it and what people say it tastes like.


Combine all ingredients together, adding the shrimp last. Keep refrigerated
